Artist Bio

Gabriel Bishop is the solo project of Brisbane-based producer Harry Wells. With four years honing his craft as an independent producer, Harry decided to put his skills to good use and make his mark on the world stage as Gabriel Bishop. Combining his love of early 2000s hip-hop, pop, and RnB with his roots as a folk singer-songwriter, Gabriel creates music that is lyrically focused, musically complex, and irresistibly catchy. He uses his wide range of influences to make a sound that is diverse yet unmistakably his own. In his new single “FALL TOGETHER”, Gabriel finds himself looking down the barrel of uncertain love. A homage to the sythnpop era of the mid/late 2000s, “FALL TOGETHER” is an emotional combination of pop-ballad melodies, EDM synths, and South American rhythms. Balancing on the edge between intimate and anthemic, Gabriel shows just how sophisticated his writing and production can be.

Fall together

Following his upbeat first single of 2023 ‘Off My Mind’, Gabriel strips away his flirty façade to show the range of emotions his music captures. Finding himself looking down the barrel of uncertain love, Bishop makes the case for diving headfirst in his homage to the sythnpop era of the mid/late 2000s… ‘Fall Together’. Off my mind

Combining groovy laid-back drums and floaty keys, the verses of ‘Off My Mind’ tell the story of forbidden romance in the 21st century. This juxtaposes the in-your-face bass-centric chorus that hits the message home harder with every kick drum. A unique blend of D’angelo’s lyrical suave and Charlie Puth’s crisp production, ‘Off My Mind’ is Effortlessly cool, unabashedly flirty, and devastatingly charming. This is a track that pulls the listener into its world and won’t let them go till they are dancing along.
